What the service is

Each session offers perspective drawn from the published work of recognized experts, starting with Karl Pillemer. Responses reflect the philosophy of the quoted thought leaders based on analysis of their public positions. Nothing here is endorsed by those thought leaders.

Safety

If you share something that suggests you or someone else may be in danger, Gray Matters will direct you to real human resources (such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or the Eldercare Locator at 1-800-677-1116) instead of offering guidance. In an emergency, always call 911.

Pricing

Your first session is free. After that, sessions are $12 each, or unlimited for $39 per month. Sessions last 5 minutes.

Privacy

Gray Matters keeps no record of what is said in your sessions - only that a session took place and how long it lasted. Session transcripts stay in your browser on your device unless you choose to save them.
